Every member matters

SceneTribe exists because I believe the creative industries deserve a genuine alternative to the choices they have now, but an alternative is not created simply by building another website. It becomes viable when people join it, use it, and help shape what it needs to become. That is why every single SceneTribe member matters.

Every profile adds another career that can be found. Every credit strengthens the record of a production. Every connection makes the real shape of our industry a little more visible. Together, those individual contributions create something no single person or company could build alone.

From hundreds to thousands

There are already hundreds of people on SceneTribe. Not all of them are active yet, and we are still at the beginning, but their presence matters enormously.

The platform will become substantially more useful as that number grows into the thousands. Not because a large membership figure looks impressive, but because creative discovery depends on breadth. A casting professional searching for someone specific needs enough people to make that search worthwhile. An agent considering a new platform needs to know the people they represent can be found there. A performer building their collaboration map needs the productions and people around their work to exist in the same connected record.

In my conversations with agents and casting professionals, I keep hearing the same appetite for something different. They can see the limitations of the current choices too, but for SceneTribe to become a credible alternative, it needs to represent the depth and variety of the people who actually make creative work happen.

That is one of the reasons member access is complimentary for life for everyone who joins by 15th May 2027. Right now, your participation is more valuable to SceneTribe than a subscription fee.

I need to know what is not working

Growing the membership is only part of it. SceneTribe also has to work for the people using it.

If a feature is missing, I want to know. If something is irritating to use on mobile, I want to know. If part of the platform is confusing, slow, or simply does not seem to work for you, please tell me.

You are not complaining. You are helping identify what SceneTribe needs next.

Some of the most useful improvements begin with one person taking a moment to say, "I tried to do this, and I couldn't." That kind of honest feedback is far more valuable than silence. I cannot promise that every suggestion will appear immediately, but I can promise it will be heard and considered against what will make the platform better for the wider community.

This is not a vanity project

It may sound sentimental, but SceneTribe has to work for you. I am not building it to say I built a platform. I am building it because I want it to have a real impact on an industry I love - one where brilliant people are too often difficult to find, where careers do not fit neatly into one discipline, and where the existing routes into opportunity can feel closed or incomplete.

Technology can help, but it is not the point. People are the point.
