Tim King is an accomplished musical director, choral conductor, pianist and educator with extensive experience across musical theatre, gospel, classical and contemporary music. He holds a BA (Hons) in Music from Oxford Brookes University and a postgraduate teaching qualification from Bath Spa University. As Musical Director and Principal of Bath Academy of Musical Theatre (BAMT), Tim has helped guide numerous young performers into leading UK drama schools and professional careers in the performing arts. He is also the Musical Director of Vocal Works Gospel Choir, with whom he has toured extensively and recorded multiple albums. Throughout his career, Tim has performed and recorded with artists including Take That, Peter Gabriel, Brian May, Lulu, Susan Boyle and Kerry Ellis, and has worked alongside some of the UK's leading musical theatre performers and educators.
